William R. Neese
Mr. Neese has served the litigation and transaction needs of businesses and individuals in West Tennessee since 1972. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin and his J. D. from the University of Tennessee, College of Law. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Henry County Bar Association, a Director of the Tennessee County Attorneys’ Association and a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation.
Mr. Neese has an extensive trial and appellate practice in all State and Federal Courts and has served as director and outside general counsel for several business entities. He regularly represents clients engaged in manufacturing, industrial mineral mining and processing, financial services, timber and lumber processing, distribution, trucking and medical services.
Mr. Neese's practice areas include general civil litigation, corporate and business litigation, contract formation and litigation, corporate governance, shareholders’ rights, creditors’ rights and secured transactions, mergers and acquisitions, tax, municipal law and sales, real estate, property and ad valorem tax litigation at the administrative and appeals level.
